We are Clifton Photographic

We have been creating quintessential portraits for the past 20 years.

Way back in 2001, when Apple released their first iPod and Harry Potter cinemas for the first time, WE opened our doors to the people of Bristol (Yes, it was iconic)

From day one, we have demanded the highest quality photography, skillful retouch and contemporary products created in a friendly, personal environment. The company has been a runaway success and we have expanded and developed into a unique, dynamic studio who provide services that are second to none.

HOW IT STARTED

At the dawn of the photographic digital revolution two friends, Ed and Frank wanted to change the face of high street photography in Bristol. They wanted to make photography a fun, memorable experience rather than the old-fashioned, stuffy portrait sessions of the past.

Having worked together on cruise ships in the 90s, Ed and Frank had a sense of adventure that took them on a pioneering trip as the first studio in the South West to be totally digital from day one. Starting with just the two of them, their make up artist Kelly and Photographer Dave the company is now a runaway success.

HOW IT'S GOING

We now occupy 5000 square feet spread over two buildings on Alma Road in Clifton, Bristol There are three unique studios and four private viewing rooms as well as having enough space for all of the facilities needed in-house from promotions to production.

We also have a satellite studio on London Road in Bath where a dedicated team offers all of the same services we have in Bristol.

THE MAKEOVER TEAM

We wouldn't be able to offer the service we do without our brilliant team. Made up of dedicated, full-time experts and freelance professionals, all the staff here at Clifton Photographic are leaders in their field of work.

Our Makeover portrait photographers are experienced in the fashion industry and know how to capture 'glossy magazine cover' images. They are accompanied by make-up artists who regularly work on high-end commercial shoots, film sets and bridal make-up.

THE FAMILY TEAM

Our Family photographers are a warm and friendly bunch of talented photographers who have plenty of experience working with kids. Believe us, some of them have more energy than your 7-year-old! Their shoots are dynamic, fun and LOUD!

We are passionate about great photography. We consider ourselves lucky to be in an industry that is creative and exciting. We love what we do and love to be able to extend that passion to the public.
